California Supply Chains Act
At KLURVE™, we are committed to ethical business practices and ensuring that our supply chain is free from human trafficking, forced labor, and unethical sourcing. This disclosure is made in compliance with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB 657), which requires businesses to provide information on their efforts to eliminate slavery and human trafficking from their direct supply chains.
1. Our Commitment to Ethical Sourcing
Klurve believes in fair labor practices and is dedicated to sourcing materials and products from suppliers that uphold ethical working conditions. We work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure they comply with all applicable labor laws and human rights standards.
2. Supplier Verification & Risk Assessment
We assess and verify our suppliers to ensure they meet our ethical sourcing standards. This process includes:
- Conducting pre-contract evaluations to verify compliance with anti-slavery laws.
- Utilizing third-party auditors and certification programs to monitor supplier operations.
- Performing risk assessments in regions where forced labor is a concern.
3. Supplier Audits & Compliance Monitoring
Klurve conducts both announced and unannounced audits of our suppliers to evaluate their labor practices. These audits may include:
- On-site inspections to assess working conditions.
- Interviews with workers to ensure fair treatment.
- Documentation review to confirm legal compliance.
- Collaboration with independent auditors for unbiased evaluations.
If a supplier fails to meet our ethical standards, we require corrective actions, and in cases of non-compliance, we may terminate our relationship with that supplier.
4. Supplier Certification & Contractual Obligations
We require all suppliers to sign a Supplier Code of Conduct, which includes:
- A commitment to zero tolerance for forced labor, child labor, and human trafficking.
- Compliance with international labor laws, including those set forth by the International Labour Organization (ILO).
- Agreements to provide transparency regarding their own supply chains and sourcing practices.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in contract termination or other legal actions.
5. Employee & Supplier Training
To ensure awareness and compliance across our organization and supply chain, we provide training to:
- Internal Teams: Employees in procurement, merchandising, and supply chain management receive training on recognizing and preventing human trafficking.
- Suppliers & Manufacturers: We encourage suppliers to implement training programs for their employees and management teams.
6. Accountability & Enforcement
Klurve holds itself and its partners accountable for upholding ethical labor practices. If we discover violations of our policies:
- We work with suppliers to implement corrective action plans.
- We terminate contracts with suppliers that fail to comply with our standards.
- We encourage employees and stakeholders to report concerns through our confidential compliance hotline at support@klurve.com.
7. Reporting & Consumer Awareness
We believe in full transparency regarding our sourcing and labor practices. Customers and stakeholders can reach out for additional information at: Email: support@klurve.com
